Most clients feel a quick sting rather than prolonged pain. Discomfort usually lasts only seconds to a few minutes; sensitivity varies by person. Our technicians use proper technique and soothing post-care to minimize irritation and make the experience comfortable.

Come with at least 1/4 inch of hair growth so the wax can grip. Avoid exfoliating, strong retinols, or sun exposure 48–72 hours before. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin for the best results.

Results typically last two to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing often slows regrowth and can lead to finer hair over time. Hormones and personal care routines will also influence duration.

There is a small risk of ingrown hairs, especially with coarse hair or inadequate exfoliation. We minimize risk using correct technique and recommend gentle exfoliation a few days after treatment and proper moisturizing to prevent ingrowns.

Waxing can be safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin but requires a patch test and cautious technique. Avoid waxing over active cold sores, irritated skin, or while using strong topical medications. Inform your technician of any concerns beforehand.

Avoid heat, strenuous exercise, swimming, and sun exposure for 24 hours. Skip makeup and fragranced products immediately after. Apply a soothing gel or aloe, avoid exfoliating for 48 hours, then gently exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs.
