To prepare, arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about quarter-inch long. Avoid exfoliating, tanning, or retinoids 48 hours prior. Wear loose clothing and allow extra time for consultation. Inform your technician about skin sensitivities or medications.

Some discomfort is normal, especially for first-timers. Our trained estheticians use quick technique and soothing post-wax care. Topical numbing can be provided on request. Sensitivity usually fades within hours and typically lessens over successive waxing sessions as hair thins.

Expect smooth results for three to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and lifestyle. Regular appointments can prolong intervals between services. Individual results vary; slower regrowth and finer hair occur with consistent waxing.

Shaving removes hair at the surface and may disrupt waxing benefits. If you must shave between appointments, do so sparingly and allow at least three weeks before waxing so hair reaches appropriate length for effective removal.

Active sunburn, open wounds, skin infections, recent chemical peels, or use of isotretinoin may prohibit waxing. Also consult your doctor for blood-thinning medications or certain skin conditions. Our technicians perform consultations and patch tests when needed.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming pools, and direct sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours. Wear loose clothing and apply gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe to soothe skin. Begin gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
