Results typically last two to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and individual factors. Most clients return every three to four weeks to maintain smoothness; regular threading often leads to finer regrowth and longer-lasting results.
Some clients feel mild discomfort during threading, but most describe it as quick pinching. To minimize pain, avoid caffeine, get a light snack beforehand, and communicate with your technician. We use soothing products and gentle technique for your comfort.
Light maintenance between appointments is fine: trim only if necessary, but avoid plucking which disrupts growth patterns and can irritate skin. Exfoliate gently a few days before your visit and schedule professional threading for clean, even results.
Threading suits most skin types, including sensitive skin, because it doesn't use chemicals. However, clients with active sunburn, open wounds, severe acne, or recent skin procedures should wait. Consult our technician if you have specific skin concerns or conditions.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and avoid heavy creams or oils on the upper lip. If possible, exfoliate gently 48 hours before and avoid waxing or bleaching. Tell your technician about medications or skin treatments you’re using.
Aftercare includes avoiding sun exposure, hot showers, and makeup on the treated area for 24 hours. Use a cool compress or gentle aloe to soothe redness, and apply SPF thereafter. Contact us if prolonged irritation or infection signs appear.
