Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Henna Tint.

Henna tint typically lasts 4–6 weeks on brow hair and 1–2 weeks on the skin stain. Longevity depends on skin type, exfoliation, skincare routine, and exposure to oils or friction. Touch-ups every 4–6 weeks keep color fresh.

Our henna formula is plant-based and generally gentle, but we perform a patch test 24–48 hours before service to check for sensitivity. Avoid if you have allergies to henna ingredients or active skin conditions near the brow area.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows and avoid exfoliating treatments or retinol near the area for at least 48 hours. Bring reference photos if desired. If you regularly use oils or heavy moisturizers, skip them on the morning of your appointment.

Henna tint reduces the need for daily brow makeup by adding color and skin staining, offering a semi-permanent enhancement. It’s less invasive than microblading and not permanent; clients seeking multi-year results may still prefer microblading.

Appointments generally last 30–45 minutes, including consultation, shade selection, patch testing if needed, application, and setting time. First-time clients may take slightly longer due to extra shaping and a thorough consult to achieve the ideal brow look.

Yes — henna can be applied over previously tinted brows, but we recommend disclosing past treatments. If recent chemical tints or brow lamination were done, we may advise waiting a few weeks to ensure an even, predictable result.
